Copyright & Takedown Policy

Effective date: 21 August 2026

CloudStream is an independent media player. It does not provide, host, sell, rebroadcast, or distribute television channels, films, series, playlists, or third-party media subscriptions. A new installation is empty until a user adds a source they are legally authorised to access.

What this policy covers

This policy covers material that CloudStream controls, such as this website, CloudStream-created product artwork, documentation, app-store materials, and content stored directly on CloudStream-operated services. It does not make CloudStream the host or operator of a third-party playlist, stream, website, or provider selected by a user.

Before sending a notice

If your concern relates to a channel or programme available through a user-supplied playlist, contact the playlist provider, streaming host, domain owner, or network operator that controls the source. CloudStream normally cannot remove media that is not stored on or transmitted from a CloudStream-controlled system.

How to submit a copyright notice

What happens next

CloudStream will review a sufficiently detailed notice in good faith. We may request clarification, preserve relevant records, restrict or remove material we control, notify an affected party, or reject a notice that is incomplete, fraudulent, unrelated to CloudStream-controlled material, or legally unsupported. Processing time depends on the detail and complexity of the report.

Corrections and counter-information

If CloudStream removes material that you supplied and you believe the action resulted from mistake or misidentification, reply to the notice with your identity, the removed material’s former location, and evidence explaining your right to use it. We may share the response with the original complainant where reasonably necessary to resolve the dispute.

Repeat or abusive conduct

CloudStream may restrict accounts or access to CloudStream-controlled services when there is credible evidence of repeated infringement, fraudulent notices, attempts to misuse pairing or activation systems, or other serious violations of our Terms of Use.

No legal advice

This page describes CloudStream’s reporting process and is not legal advice. Rights owners and responding parties should obtain independent legal advice when needed. Nothing here limits rights or obligations that cannot legally be limited.
