Install CloudStream TV on Fire Stick

Step by step

5-minute Fire Stick setup

Follow these steps in order. Each picture shows what you should see on your TV screen.

Install Downloader from Amazon Appstore

On your Fire Stick home screen, open Find → Search and type Downloader.

  • Choose the orange app by AFTVnews
  • Tap Get or Download
  • Open Downloader when installation finishes

Allow Downloader to install apps

Fire Stick blocks unknown apps by default. Enable it once for Downloader:

  • Settings → My Fire TV → Developer Options
  • Open Install unknown apps
  • Select Downloader and turn it ON

On older Fire OS: Settings → Applications → Unknown sources → Downloader.

Enter our AFTV shortcode

Open Downloader. On the URL bar, type our official shortcode:

Press GO on your remote. The download will start automatically.

Install CloudStream TV

When the download completes, Downloader opens the Android installer.

  • Select Install
  • Wait for “App installed”
  • Tap Open or Done

If you previously installed an unsigned test build, uninstall it first, then install this signed release.

Open CloudStream and add your playlist

Find CloudStream TV under Your Apps & Channels.

  • On TV: choose Add from phone and scan the QR code
  • On your phone: enter Xtream or M3U credentials at cloudstream.pro/customers/pair
  • Your channels sync automatically to the Fire Stick

Troubleshooting

Common questions

Downloader says “Not found” Double-check the shortcode 4768554 with no spaces. You can also type http://aftv.news/4768554 in full.
Install blocked or parse error Make sure Install unknown apps is enabled for Downloader (Step 2).
App not in recent apps Go to Settings → Applications → Manage installed applications and launch CloudStream TV from there.
Already had CloudStream installed Uninstall any old unsigned copy first. The live APK is now officially signed.
No Downloader? You can sideload from a USB stick, or download the APK on your phone and use Amazon’s Send to Fire TV — WhatsApp us for help.
